The Manning strips were re-formatted into a magazine-style presentation, published as a comics insert for the film's publicity kit, among other uses. Based on the Frazetta painting which resurfaced in 1974 as cover art for Warren Publishing's Vampirella #31, whose inner pages featured a 13-page Esteban Maroto version of the Luana tale.) This pure-Manning strip contains additional water coloring, and a personalized inscription to "José" may represent a nod to Warren colleague José "Pepe" Gonzalez. it has an image area of 19" x 5.75".
