Universe X, a sequel to the epic Earth X saga, features a a future version of the Marvel Universe in which Venom is May Parker, the adult daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson-Parker, combined with a symbiote that in turn is a combination of both the Venom symbiote and the Carnage symbiote. Romita and Milgrom worked on the sections of the book that show May stuck in a reality where her father is middle-aged and married to a Gwen Stacy who never died, while Mary Jane is married to Harry Osborn.
