Warner Bros. Gets Alien Legion Rights; Tim Miller to Direct image image Warner Bros. has gotten the rights to the sci-fi comic Alien Legion with plans to develop it into a space opera franchise. Tim Miller, who helmed Deadpool and Terminator: Dark Fate, is attached to direct the project, and Don Murphy and Susan Montford of Angry Films will produce with Aaron Ryder. Created by Carl Potts, Alan Zelenetz, and Frank Cirocco, Alien Legion followed the military unit known as Force Nomad, which was modeled after the French Foreign Legion. The cast of characters were of different alien races, bringing together different cultures and its associated issues. Team members include the serpent-like captain Sarigar, the green-skinned rebel Juger Grimrod, the human Torie Montroc who is forced to serve with the Legion, and the four-armed medic Meico. It was originally published by Epic Comics, Marvel’s creator owned imprint, starting in 1983.
