Trying to prevent the soul of Morgana Blessing from travelling deeper into the past, which would end all human existence, Dr. Strange, with the aid of Nightmare, is sent to Ancient Egypt, where Strange is shocked to find within the Great Sphinx a futuristic hideout; Trapped inside a cryogenic device, he dispatches his astral form to try and find the past incarnation of Morgana in this era; He is shocked to find that the Fantastic Four are in the past as well, trying to find a cure for Alicia Master's blindness; The FF have been taken prisoner by Rama-Tut.
NOTE: The events of this very issue can be seen from different points of view in the pages of Fantastic Four (1961-1996 1st Series) #19 and Avengers West Coast (1985) #22.
