Jimmy Grippo's Amazing World test Sunday Comic Strip Original Art (1970). master-magician Jimmy Grippo. He was the house magician at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas when the casino opened in 1966, and he continued to star there for over 20 years. Grippo's sleight-of-hand work was beyond compare, but he preferred to be remembered as a hypnotist. Grippo is reported to have used hypnotism on many famous athletes of his time. Exactly like the subject of this Sunday by master-artist Alex Toth. ink on graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 25" x 17.25". Signed by Toth in the last panel.
