Rube Goldberg

GOLDBERG, RUBE - "Anvil Chorus" Invention / contraption! A to F, making music and critic 1950s?

Media Type: Pen and Ink
Art Type: Strip Art
Artists: Rube Goldberg All

Rube Goldberg - Contraption Illustration Original Art.
Although a brilliant Political cartoonist as well, Rube Goldberg is almost synonymous with his outlandish "contraptions" drawings. Each featured an overly-complex and highly-improbably machine to do a simple task. In this case, the singer's voice seems to provide his own musical accompaniment. No doubt the song is "The Anvil Chorus".
Created in ink on illustration board with an image area of 12" x 7".
Signed in the image area, and in Excellent condition.
