Story continues from Avengers 260. The Avengers have successfully blocked Nebula's plan to destroy the Andromeda Galaxy. But due to interference from the Beyonder, the self-described granddaughter of Thanos has escaped! However, General Zedrao permits Starfox and his teammates to use the imperial power asteroid to pursue Nebula. On the way to the power asteroid, the Avengers make a pit stop in the 1930's…skrull-style! While visiting with the "gangster" Skrulls, Earth's Mightiest Heroes discover that a major power struggle is underway on the asteroid…centering around a device called the hyperwave bomb!
Can the Avengers separate the good skrulls from the bad skrulls? Maybe the Fantastic Four will help! But either way, it's going to be a red-letter day for the Skrull empire! Story continues in Avengers 261.
