In his quest for vengeance, Iron Man wrecks the cargo ship that smuggled the Titanium Man into the United States. Meanwhile, a new villain called the Mercenary along with Janice Cord's former lawyer, Vincent Sandhurst, plots to ambush and kill Tony Stark. Both bad guys track Tony to his weekend lodge in the Adirondacks Mountains, but they end up encountering Iron Man instead!
