Wayne Boring BORING, WAYNE - Superman Sunday 11/26 1950, Superman saving Kent double - in great artistic frame
Superman Sunday Comic Strip 11-26-50 (McClure Syndicate, 1950). The Man of Steel creates a distraction in order to protect the dummy of Clark Kent in this Sunday comic strip by artist Wayne Boring. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20.5" x 14.5", matted and framed to an overall size of 30" x 25.5". In great condition. The art is further enhanced by a custom wood frame by artist Dan Makara, adorned with a stylish array of decoupage images of Superman and other related characters. They are parts and pieces from actual comic strips, including a print from this very strip, and a photograph of Wayne Boring in the right corner!
