Newly rich Boob is all set to marry his sweetheart Pearl and buy a house for $12,000, but Boob's odd pet "pootwaddle" changes his plans. In the topper, Bill and Captain Jim are on the lam. Rube Goldberg's Boob McNutt had a good healthy run from 1915 to 1934. Back then, the word "boob" meant "without a brain in his head," but he seems to at least have good luck in this Sunday. Boob's uncles Mike and Ike ("they look alike"), who had been featured in an earlier Goldberg strip, co-star. The art is in ink over graphite on Bristol board, about 20" x 24"
